You will:
- support individuals in achieving their full potential by facilitating relationships, skills, and roles which promote people’s participation as valued members of their community.
- have an understanding of supporting individuals with complex care needs in a sensitive and respectful manner, in all areas of their lives
- work in partnership with other team members and families in supporting individuals to reach their dreams
- have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the concepts and objectives of the person centered planning process
- possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- be available to work regularly scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Education and Training:
Two years post secondary education and/or related work experience
Valid CPR/FA certification
Knowledge of community resources
Valid drivers license an asset

Hours of work: Flexible
Shifts: Evenings and weekends (days & evenings)
Compensation: Hourly
Part-time & Relief ($17.28- $17.88)
Overnight Sleep ($12.00)

Beer - 5 cents each. Minimum 20 24's.

Newborn Care Class: 9:00am-11:15am

Growing Baby's newborn care class will cover a variety of topics to help you learn more about basic baby care, what to expect in the early weeks with your baby and to become familiar with newborn emotional and physical needs.

- Diapering (cloth and disposable)
- Bathing (sponge and tub)
- Baby massage
- Co-sleeping
- Skin to skin contact
- Newborn appearance

Breastfeeding Class: 11:30am-1:00pm

Growing Baby's prenatal breastfeeding classes are instructed by a Certified Lactation Educator. Growing Baby’s prenatal breastfeeding class will provide you and your partner with an introduction to the basics of breastfeeding. We will provide you with the knowledge you need to have a successful start and to feel positive and confident about breastfeeding.
